The IC755ACC12GAS gasket is a 12-inch replacement gasket made by GE Fanuc and intended for use with the QuickPanel Plus operator interface modules. The IC755ACC12GAS replacement gasket is part of the QuickPanel Plus IC755 product line. It is designed for replacing the original gasket on a module. Using it is recommended for extending the operating life of the module. The IC755ACC12GAS replacement gasket by GE Fanuc is intended to offer sturdy external protection for the QuickPanel Plus modules and to allow them to be mounted into various structures and panels. The users can also extend the life of the module and the gasket by keeping the environmental conditions around them within the recommended limits and by inserting or removing the panel as rarely as possible to keep the mounting clips tight.  This replacement gasket can tolerate an environmental temperature not exceeding 50 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity level of 85 percent or lower (non-condensing).

 

The IC755ACC12GAS gasket replacement part by GE Fanuc is designed to allow for the mounting of the QuickPanel Plus interface modules on a panel or DIN rail. When inserting the modules into this gasket, the users should not attach any wiring or connections to them. One cutout should be present in the gasket to accommodate the module it is protecting, and the cutout is made to fit the modules without any connections made to it. The GE Fanuc IC755ACC12GAS replacement gasket will be degraded by the frequent removals and insertions of the module and the frequent retightening of the mounting clips, so the module should be removed as infrequently as possible. When the module is installed in an entirely new system, it is recommended that the gasket be replaced for full protection. When installing this gasket, the recommended torque should be 0.5 N-m.
