Technical Information

Manufactured by GE Fanuc, the IC755ACC10GAS gasket is a replacement gasket designed for use with the 10-inch QuickPanel Plus terminals. This gasket's main purpose is to cover the user interface of the QuickPanel Plus operator terminal and also to cover the screen and each port of the user interface. On the original terminal, a gasket comes pre installed. However, a replacement gasket replacement is eventually needed because the terminal and its original gasket are exposed to certain environmental conditions during operation that eventually wear out the gasket, so it is necessary to have a replacement gasket. On the side of the gasket, there are bezel channels or slots in which the 10-inch QuickPanel Plus terminal will fit. No additional spaces or cutouts are required beyond the built-in one that is cut to the dimensions of the specific terminals it is designed to protect, and the thickness of these terminals ranges between 1.6 and 5 millimeters.

 

The GE Fanuc IC755ACC10GAS replacement gasket for the 10-inch GE QuickPanel Plus terminals has screws that are used to secure the device in place, and the users should tighten them in the clockwise direction. Where possible, it is recommended that constant insertions and removals of the terminals be minimized as much as possible to reduce the chances of wear and degradation to the IC755ACC10GAS gasket, and it is recommended to conduct a periodic inspection of the screws to make sure that they are secure. The terminals should be inserted into the gaskets by themselves without anything connected to them, because things like cables may prevent them from properly fitting into the gasket. When using the IC755ACC10GAS replacement gasket, the temperature level should be maintained within the range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.
