Product Description


The IC754VSI12MTD is a 12.1 inch operator interface manufactured and designed by GE Fanuc for its QuickPanel family of industrial interface machines. This unit features a resistive TFT monochrome touchscreen display, which supports 256 deferent shades of gray graphics and a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. The display backlight is rated for 50,000 hours, and it cannot be replaced.

The IC754VSI12MTD has other outstanding features that include a microprocessor powered by an XScale and runs at 300 MHz with 32 MB of DRAM. DRAM can be expanded to 96 MB through a memory expansion slot. The unit also comes with a compact flash slot (Type 2) capable of supporting one 512 MB CF card. The IC754VSI12MTD runs on MS Windows CE operating system and comes pre-loaded with Proficy View Machine Edition software.

This unit is equipped with two LEDs to indicate power, status information, and troubleshooting assistance. The IC754VSI12MTD also comes equipped with an RS-232/RS-485 serial interface and a 10/100 Ethernet interface. Optional communication modules can be added via an expansion slot. Such modules include DeviceNet, GE-Fanuc Genius, ProfiBus modules, and DH+. 

The IC754VSI12MTD runs between 12V DC and 24V DC (plus or minus 20%) and consumes a maximum of 48W at 24V DC. Typical power consumption is 36 W. The recommended power cable for this unit is a 12-18 AWG power cable. The IC754VSI12MTD is available in an IP65-rated NEMA 4/12/4X enclosure, which requires a cut-out size of 302 x 228 x 60 mm for installation. This unit performs well in environments with a temperature range of 32-122 °F and a relative humidity of between10-90%.
