The IC754VSI06MTD is a 6-inch Intermediate Monochrome QuickPanel Control and Display manufactured and designed by GE Fanuc. The IC754VSI06MTD allows its user to connect using Proficy View-Machine Edition software and an RS232/RS485 serial port through an HMI-CAB-C120 communication cable. The user controls the IC754VSI06MTD using the touchscreen to input information and data. The IC754VSI06MTD is powered by a 12-30 VDC power inlet. The approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 5 lbs. and 14 x 12 x 10 inches.

The IC754VSI06MTD is among the most advanced compact HMI computers due to its availability in different configurations to suit different user requirements. It also works well on a home network or as a stand-alone unit. The IC754VSI06MTD is the preferred solution for factory floor HMI. The IC754VSI06MTD is powered by Microsoft Windows CE.NET. This combination allows the unit to provide a fast track for application program development. Since CE.NET is compatible with other versions of Windows, it is convenient for porting existing program code.

The IC754VSI06MTD has a combined internal memory of 32 MB distributed into several memory types to satisfy demanding applications. Available memory is shared between the operating system, the object store, and application memory. A 16 MB section acts as non-volatile FLASH memory that in return functions as a virtual hard drive. Memory is divided between the operating system and persistent storage for application programs.

Retentive memory consists of 512 KB SRAM supported by a battery for data storage. The battery ensures that important data is not lost during the absence of power; however, complete shutdown procedures are recommended.

The GE Fanuc IC754VSI06MTD terminal is a Quickpanel series terminal for displaying and controlling applications. Its touchscreen is 6 inches wide with monochrome graphics.
