Technical Information

The IC754VKF08CTD kit is an adapter kit for the GE Fanuc QuickPanel 8-inch terminal series. The adapter kit is certified with the UL and ATEX standards. It meets different environmental ratings including the NEMA, UL, and IP 66 ratings. The adapter kit helps to mount an 8-inch QuickPanel terminal into a cutout that is made for a 9-inch unit. The adapter is first fitted into the 9-inch cutout by being inserted and clamped to the back wall of the cutout. The IC754VKF08CTD adapter kit is a starter kit with a full TFT and this adapter kit is easy to install and use. When this kit is inserted into the cutout, the back of the adapter flange should be completely seated on the panel without any gaps. The adapter kit can be mounted by using mounting clamps to protect the adapter and the main terminal.

 

During the installation of the IC754VKF08CTD adapter kit, the hook of each mounting clamp should be attached to the housing. The clamp screws should be tightened to a torque between 2.6 and 4.4 pounds on an inch. The GE QuickPanel terminal that the kit is made for is used as an interface between industrial equipment and the machine operators. The interface terminal is designed with the ARM core microprocessor that helps to process high-resolution images. For internal networks and communication, the QuickPanel terminal is equipped with both an Ethernet port and serial ports. It comes with RJ-45, RS-232, and RS-485 ports. The IC754VKF08CTD adapter kit is cooled down by  using a natural convection cooling method. The ambient operating temperature should range between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius.
