The IC754VGF15CTD is a fully loaded QuickPanel view and control computer made by GE Fanuc. This product is a panel PC designed for factory floor operations. It is powered by a 32-bit Windows CE embedded operating system with a graphic user interface (GUI). This device has a 15-inch (38.1cm) TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 X 768 pixels. More than 16 million colors are supported at a rate of 24 bits per pixel. To operate this panel, a stylus is used in conjunction with a touchscreen.

 

This computer supports web browsing, file transfers, storage management, and the ability to view standard Microsoft file types such as PDFs, spreadsheets, and text documents. Proficy Machine Edition software is also supported.

 

The IC754VGF15CTD has a 400MHz XScale PXA255 processor from Intel. Various types of memory are supported. Primary long-term storage is provided by 64 megabytes of non-volatile flash memory. This flash memory functions like a virtual hard drive, and a small portion of it is used to house the Windows CE operating system; the remaining space is allocated for applications. One 512 kilobyte block of battery-supported static memory is shared by both Windows CE and user programs. This microcomputer also has 64 megabytes of dynamic memory, which can be upgraded by up to 64 additional megabytes.

 

The IC754VGF15CTD supports several expansion slots and communication ports. For external storage, a flash memory card slot and two USB V1.1 ports are provided. Note: these USB ports can also be used for external devices such as a mouse and keyboard. For communication, two Ethernet LAN ports and two serial COM ports are also provided. Ethernet ports support 10BaseT and 100BaseT. The COM1 serial port is RS232/485, and COM2 is a RS232 port.
