Product Description


The IC754VBI06MTD is a multi-purpose QuickPanel display made by GE Fanuc. This hand-held computer is capable of connecting to and interacting with most industrial machinery components. This device has a six-inch LCD touchscreen and is built on the Embedded Compact 7 version of Windows. The touch screen has an LED backlight with a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels Wide Video Graphics Array (WVGA). It is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 microprocessor from the Freescale i.MX535 family.

 

Three types of memory are supported by this device: 512 MB of Dynamic RAM, 256MB of ROM, and 512 KB of Static RAM. A portion of the Dynamic RAM (DRAM) holds the Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system, and the remainder is used for application memory and object storage. ROM provides persistent storage for the operating system and other applications. Static RAM (SRAM) is battery-protected to provide data retention during power loss.

 

Physical dimensions for the IC754VBI06MTD are as follows: Length is 7.56 inches, or 192 millimeters; width is 5.39 inches, or 137 millimeters; and depth is 1.42 inches, or 36 millimeters. General dimensions are different from cutout dimensions. A standard 75 X 75 VESA mount can be used to mount this device. Overall weight for this device is 1.76 pounds, or 0.8 kilograms.

 

The IC754VBI06MTD supports several connection and communication ports. One 10-BaseT/100-BaseTX Ethernet port is available. There is also one RS-232 serial port, along with two USB 2.0 ports. One standard SD card slot is also available.

 

Aside from basic configuration setup such as programming the device name, setting the clock, and connecting to the local network or Internet, this product is ready for use almost immediately.
