The IC754CGF15CTD is a 15” QuickPanel View/Control Compact Computer Designed by GE and Powered by Microsoft Windows. The 15” QuickPanel view and control are combined for flexibility. The design, based on an advanced Xscale microprocessor, combines a high-resolution touchscreen operator interface with a wide range of I/O choices. The IC754CGF15CTD comes with a variety of standard ports and expansion busses that will allow connection to most industrial equipment.

The IC754CGF15CTD is equipped with four DIP switches that control different functions. The DIP switches are off when purchased by the factory. DIP switch 2 is the force startup switch, which when turned on, forces the startup applications to run when the system is started. When switch is off, the IC754CGF15CTD operates normally with the start-up screen displayed. Startup applications can be skipped by tapping the “don’t run” button located on the startup screen.

The IC754CGF15CTD supports a wide range of memory subsystems to guarantee requirements of applications are met. The system’s total memory is linked directly to the microprocessor’s address and data busses for quickest access. There is a 100-pin DIMM memory expansion slot included, which allows for increase of DRAM up to 64 MB. The flash memory is comprised of a 48 MB block of memory offered for long-term storage of user application programs. There are 16 MB more used to store the Windows CE operating system and cannot be accessed directly from Windows CE Explorer. There is an option to add Flash memory with external flash devices such as a CF card or USB thumb drive.
