Made by GE Automation and Controls, the IC754CGF12CTD is a 12-inch QuickPanel Display. Running on a 32-bit version of Windows CE, this device is capable of functioning as both a Human Machine Interface (HMI) and a system controller. This display panel has a 12-inch LCD touch screen with a graphical user interface. Touch screen resolution is 800 X 600.

The height for this device is 8.93 inches (226.8mm). The width is 11.85 inches (301.1mm). The depth is 2.37 inches (60.1mm). The height of the bezel is 10.34 inches (262.6mm). The width of the bezel is 13.26 inches (336.8mm). The depth of the bezel is 0.38 inches (9.7mm). The weight of this device is 5.2 pounds (2.36kg).

 

Example software capabilities include transferring files over a network, viewing popular file types, and connecting to the Internet. File transfers are accomplished via the HTTP File Transfer Utility or by creating an FTP server. The ability to view Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets is supported by this device, along with Adobe PDF files. Access to these files is provided by the Microsoft File Viewer; however, File Viewer has certain limitations for each of these three file types. See the product documentation for more information. Web browsing is provided by the Pocket Internet Explorer, a fully-featured web browser that supports Jscript.

 

The IC754CGF12CTD is equipped with two serial ports, two Ethernet ports, and two USB ports, as well as other expansion slots. The two Ethernet ports are used to connect this device to a network with a CAT5 UTP cable and RJ-45 connectors. Dial up connection is also possible. The CPU for this device is a 400MHz XScale. Four types of memory are supported: 64 MB of flash memory, partially used for operating system storage; 512 KB of SRAM, which is battery protected; 64 MB of DRAM, 15.8 MB of which is reserved for Windows CE; and 512 KB of ROM, which holds the boot loader program.
