Technical Information

The ES1522R terminal is a color display terminal with touchscreen control technology. The display has a diagonal diameter of 15 inches and it is manufactured by GE Fanuc. This GE QuickPanel View display terminal comes with its own software and it is part of a basic setup of the machine control equipment that is used in industrial environments. The ES1522R display terminal can be used with an optional USB keyboard if necessary and the users can connect optional Ethernet devices and expansion I/O. The ES1522R operator interface terminal has a Panasonic BR2032 3V lithium battery with a capacity of 190 milliamp-hours. The average battery life of the battery is 5 years.

 

The ES1522R terminal is NEMA rated and it is resistant to shock and vibration according to several industrial standards. The operating temperature range for the terminal is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit). In addition to that, the unit can be stored in environments with a temperature from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius (-4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The ES1522R terminal features a 400-megahertz processor and display resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The ES1522R operator interface terminal operates on power sources with an input voltage of 9.6 to 28.8 Volts DC and it has an insulation resistance of less than 300 megaOhms. Additionally, the ES1522R terminal has 64 MB of flash memory and it features multiple ports and slots for various applications and devices. The ports of the ES1522R terminal are the memory expansion slot, expansion ports, and communication ports.
