Technical Information

The ES1001 terminal is a 10-inch display terminal with a touchscreen manufactured by GE Fanuc as part of the QuickPanel series. It has both the full and the half-duplex standard physical communication protocols enabled by the RS-232 and RS-485 ports, respectively. The terminal comes with a bright touchscreen and many communication possibilities powered by a 24 Volts DC power source. The ES1001 interface terminal is equipped with the Proficy View Machine Edition software for programming multiple GE Fanuc controllers. It runs on and can be configured on the Windows CE operating system which is useful for quick decision making because it integrates the production operation processes. The interface feature on the ES1001 terminal also enhances application visualization by combining different controls into a single platform. 

 

There are control buttons on the front panel of the ES1001 interface terminal. Its robust networking protocols allow for scalability and expansion in data collection techniques and it has an alarm capability. The HMI-CAB-CS17 cable is an additional feature that makes it more compatible with other machines as a compact unit measuring 12 pounds in weight. The GE Fanuc ES1001 display terminal is embedded with 32 GB of flash memory split into 16 MB that is reserved for the file system memory and the other 16 MB is for the dedicated memory. The terminal does not have a DIMM socket. However, it is equipped with 512 KB of NVRAM for system files that use NIC card modules for Ethernet communication and internal communication modules supporting up to 10/100 MBs. The ES1001 terminal possesses 2 ports for USB connections, and a Cortex A8 1 GHz processor with ARM. It is water-resistant and this makes it ideal for even harsh environments.
