The GE Fanuc manufactures the ES0822 panel as part of the QuickPanel product line. It is an 8-inch display panel with an input type that is a touchscreen and it comes with RS-485 and RS-232 serial communication options. With an input rating of 24 Volts DC, the ES0822 display panel supports the HMI-CAB-CS16 communication cable. This unit is a Human-Machine Interface or HMI that is easy to configure. It also features the Proficy View Machine Edition software. The length, width, and breadth of the panel are 14 x 12 x 10 inches and it weighs 10 pounds at shipping. It is designed to provide maximum flexibility in 1 device. It has advanced machine core processors that bring together various communication options that combine with the high-resolution touchscreen into a single advanced operator interface.

 

Installing the ES0822 display panel in a well-lit and ventilated environment away from corrosive gases, dust, and harmful liquids is recommended. The operating temperature should be within the range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature should range between -10 and 60 degrees Celsius. The ES0822 display panel operates best in an environment with a non-condensing maximum relative humidity level of 85 percent. To prolong the life of the ES0822 panel, it is advisable to use it indoors only. This panel supports an Ethernet port called the RJ-45 port and comes with an LED indicator that shows its connection status and provides the users with a way to monitor its operation. It has a battery backup feature for temporary data storage and for changes in the Windows registry.
