Technical Information

The ES0602 terminal is a monochrome display terminal manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation as part of the QuickPanel View product line. It features a touch input module with monochrome graphics, and it operates on an input power of 24 Volts DC. Some of the ES0602 display terminal’s main features include different communication options like the RS-485 and RS-232 ports which are well-suited for industrial applications. This QuickPanel display terminal also supports the Proficy View Machine Edition software and a communication cable known as the HMI-CAB-CS5 cable. The software is a universal development software setup that is designed for the user interface, motion, and control applications. Additionally, the RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports are universally applicable and they are supported by a variety of standard parts.

 

The GE Fanuc ES0602 display terminal and other similar products in the QuickPanel series are compatible and usable with various communication ports, including the expansion bus which enhances application flexibility to a high level. Additionally, it has an opening in the back which gives the users access to the internal parts and the ability to add or change the battery, set the DIP switches, and use the expansion bus connector and the memory expansion connector. The green LED indicator on the display turns amber if there is a backlight failure. There is also a programmable tricolor LED indicator (red, amber, or green) on the ES0602 display terminal. This QuickPanel display terminal increases efficiency and system performance with the Proficy View Machine Edition software. This program uses the HMI, machine control, and multi-target control features to provide a wide range of development tools, network connectivity options, and troubleshooting functions.
