The GE Fanuc Genius I/O IC660TSD021 Terminal Assembly is a state-of-the-art, microprocessor-based, solid-state wiring terminal accessory that is designed and built by GE Fanuc for the connection of incoming wires from sensors and indicators in the field and the outgoing wires to the actuators on indicators that will be controlled by the PLC. The GE Fanuc IC660TSD021 Terminal Assembly features 16 independent connection points, and it uses screw-type terminals for connecting all the inputs and outputs that need to be hardwired to the PLC. The manufacturer recommends installing this terminal assembly inside a protective panel board. The operating temperature range is between 32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit (0 and 60 degrees Celsius). Small external loads in fields such as the typical solenoid valves, LED indicators, or relay contacts can be supplied with power directly from the module.
