The IC660BLC003 cable is part of GE Series 90-70 and it is intended for use with TCP/IP Ethernet communication modules that are used for professional industrial machine control systems. The supported Ethernet interface is used with compatible PLC components and PC computers which are used for the installation of the software that is used for programming and configuration. The Ethernet interface component is designed for rack mounting and it connects to the Ethernet network by using a transceiver cable and a transceiver. The IC660BLC003 cable is used for Ethernet interface components that come with 4 LED indicators for status updates and that are used across different industries.

 

The IC660BLC003 cable is made from high-quality materials that are industrial grade and that are robust enough to endure usage in a harsh operating environment. The Ethernet interface has 2 serial ports that are intended for Station Manager and Software Loader applications. The standard Ethernet ports of the unit are the 10BaseT port, AUI port, and the 10Base2 port. These ports cannot be used simultaneously. They are intended for providing additional capabilities for connecting the unit to the Ethernet network. The Ethernet interface compatible with IC660BLC003 cable can be easily configured through software solutions such as the Logicmaster 90-70 software. This software allows the users to define the status address, assign the IP address, and configure the serial ports. The Ethernet interface can also be adjusted with the CIMPLICITY Control software that provides similar features.

 The final letter in the part number (ex. IC660BLC003K) indicates the revision. Revision K or later use the newer style electronic housing and therefore needs the newer style plastic door and may indicate some compatibility issues with the terminal strip.
