Technical Information

The IC630MDL375 module is a 16-point output module with a 115 or 230 Volts AC voltage rating. GE Fanuc manufactures it as part of the GE Series Three product family. This output module has 16 circuits which are individually capable of taking control of the discrete “on” and “off” loads that are supplied by the users. Some of the typical loads come from devices that include relay coils, solenoid valves, indicator lights, and motor starters. The 16 circuits are separated into 2 different groups containing 8 circuits each and their own commons. Different sources of power can also supply the groups, but the users must supply the power that is required to operate the field devices. Each of the groups containing 8 circuits has a fuse of 5 Amps for protection purposes. The maximum capacity for switching of the output circuits is 2 Amps.

 

The IC630MDL375 output module features 16 output points each with a corresponding LED indicator. It also has a user-supplied power source rated at 97 to 265 Volts AC. This module has an on and off delay time of less than 0.1 milliseconds and less than half a cycle, respectively. Other characteristics of this output module are a maximum output current of 2 Amps and a minimum current of 25 milliamps when the module is in the on-state. The IC630MDL375 output module features an inrush current of 20 Amps for one cycle and a fuse rating of 5 Amps for each of the 8 circuits. It features an internal power consumption rating of 12 Volts DC, 20 Amps, and 17.5 milliamps per point.
