The IC630MDL368 output module is a Series Three output module by GE Fanuc, and it is part of the GE Series 90-30 I/O module product line. This module is a 2-channel module, with a voltage rating of 0 to 10 Volts DC. This IC630MDL368 output module by GE Fanuc has a green LED mounted on top of it, and the users can view it through a clear plastic cover. This LED allows users to closely monitor the status of the output module. The module also has 2 horizontal rows of LEDs, and each row has 8 LEDs. Every LED can be identified by a number and letter, and the numbers are illuminated whenever the corresponding LED comes on. The numbers and letters clearly identify every LED, and this helps in monitoring, programming, and troubleshooting the output module.

 

The GE Fanuc IC630MDL368 output module comes with a baseplate which comprises 3 primary parts. These parts include a circuit board, a metal back-plate, and a plastic cover. The circuit board is supposed to be mounted to the metal backplate and the plastic cover. The circuit plate is also known as the backplane, and it is equipped with sockets for plug-in modules. The metal backplate, on the other hand, comes with 4 holes which allow for the easy mounting of the baseplate. In addition, it has retainer slots which are used to mount the modules. Lastly, the plastic cover protects the circuit board, the slotted holes, and the retainers and module connectors as well as the printed labels, like the serial number, slot number details, and baseplate description labels.
