Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC630MDL367 output module is an analog output module that is part of the Series Three MDL 367 series. This module has 2 channels, and a voltage rating of +/-10 Volts DC. Just like the other output modules in this series, the GE Fanuc IC630MDL367 output module comes with an insert which can be inserted between the interior and exterior surface of the hinged door. When the hinged door is closed, the surface of the interior of the module has information about the circuit wiring for the IC630MDL367 module, while the exterior surface has the space to record information about the circuit identification. The GE Fanuc IC630MDL367 module comes with detachable terminal boards as a standard feature. The detachable terminal boards allow for field wiring connections between user-supplied I/O devices. This feature makes it easy for the users to pre-wire the field wiring to the user-supplied I/O devices. Additionally, the terminal boards allow the users to replace other operational modules without disturbing the existing field wiring.

 

The Terminal Block Quick Connect (TBQC) assembly makes it easier for the users to connect the IC630MDL367 module to the interposing terminal blocks. Typically, the users would need around 2 and a half hours to wire a Programmable Logic Controller or PLC when installing the IC630MDL367 module. However, the TBQC makes things easier, because the users can snap in the interposing terminal block, remove the IC630MDL367 output module’s terminal, install the output faceplate, and connect the cable back to it. This cuts down the wiring time to around 2 minutes, and it also reduces wiring errors and costs. A complete assembly with the GE Fanuc IC630MDL367 output module consists of a terminal block, an output faceplate, and a cable.
