24Vdc Sink Output Module, D Connector, w/LED MDL356 Series 3 IC630MDL3 IC630MDL35
The GE Fanuc IC630MDL356 output module is a 24 Volts DC sink output module which comes with a “D” connector. This module is also part of the Series Three line of modules made by GE Fanuc. The GE Fanuc IC630MDL356 output module comes with 2 channels, with either voltage outputs or current loop outputs. Users can configure each channel individually for a voltage range or current range depending on the requirements of the user’s application. All of the module configurations are done via a software program. However, the users must select the current input mode for a jumper. The system can be configured by using a Logicmaster Series 90-30 programming software configurator function, or the Series 90-30 hand-held programmer.
The users can configure each output channel on the IC630MDL356 output module to operate in the ramp mode by using ladder logic. The ramp output comprises the steps taken by the module in every millisecond to arrive at the final value. Additionally, the users can set high and low alarm limits on every channel, and an open-wire fault can be reported to the CPU for both output channels. The users should never insert or remove the GE Fanuc IC630MDL356 output module when the power is still connected. This can cause serious damages to the baseplate or module and even lead to serious injuries to the person handling the module. Moreover, this can make the PLC stop or break down. Additionally, voltage spikes from the user devices can be found on the screw terminals of the module, even when the users have turned off the power. Therefore, the users must always exercise caution when handling the GE Fanuc IC630MDL356 module or the wires connected to the module.
