Technical Information

The IC630MDL352 output module is a 24 Volts DC sink output module by GE Fanuc that is used in GE Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). This GE Fanuc IC630MDL352 output module has a current rating of 1 Amp and 16 output points. Each of the 16 points can control user-supplied discrete on/off loads. The users must supply the IC630MDL352 output module by GE Fanuc with a 24 Volts DC power supply. The power supply should power the discrete loads, and also provide a DC power source for the output points on the IC630MDL352 module. The output switching points on the GE Fanuc IC630MDL352 output module are arranged in 4 groups, and each group has 4 circuits. Moreover, a 5-Amps fuse protects each group in the IC630MDL352 output module.

 

Just like the other Series Three output modules by GE Fanuc, the programming of the GE Fanuc IC630MDL352 output module should be done via a simple relay ladder representation, which should be based on the standard Boolean Function. The programming functions should be entered with a programmer unit. Typically, the functions are entered as logic lines by using both open and closed contacts, timers, output coils, shift registers, counters, and arithmetic functions. When installing and programming the IC630MDL352 output module, there is no internal limit to the number of contacts that should be installed in a parallel or series position. Moreover, when programming the entire PLC unit, the users should ensure that all the written programs have reference numbers. The reference numbers help in specifying the function to be used, and they help the CPU to monitor the program.
