Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC630MDL351 module is a 24 Volts DC sink output module, which is part of the MDL 351 Series Three line of modules by GE Fanuc. The IC630MDL351 output module comes with 8 points or circuits, and a current rating of 2 Amps. Each of the 8 output points in the IC630MDL351 output module has the capacity to control user-supplied (on/off) loads. Common loads controlled by the GE Fanuc IC630MDL351 output module include relay coils, motor starters, and indicator lights. The users must supply the IC630MDL351 output module with a 24 Volts DC power source. The power supply helps to supply power to the loads, and it also provides DC power for the output circuits. The GE Fanuc IC630MDL351 output module comes with an output switching circuitry, which has 4 groups, each with 2 circuits. A 5-Amp fuse protects each of the groups in the IC630MDL351 output module.

 

The GE Fanuc IC630MDL351 output module can be installed in a base unit in any mix. However, the address output point reference is determined by the slot into which the IC630MDL351 module is inserted. During installation, the IC630MDL351 output module by GE Fanuc should be secured to the base unit or base plate with 2 captive screws that are found on the IC630MDL351 module. The IC630MDL351 module comes with LEDs which allows the users to see the status of each circuit in the output module. Most of the wiring connections are done through screw terminals, on socket-type terminal boards. The terminal board can be easily removed to allow easy installation and maintenance for the IC630MDL351 module.
