Technical Information

The IC630MDL304 module is a Series Three module introduced by GE Fanuc. This sink input/output module is rated as a highly reliable component that is compatible with Series Three PLC systems. The programmable controllers are CPUs, programmers, and I/O modules that require an adequate DC power source. The IC630MDL304 module is a 24 Volts DC rated device and it operates as part of a system with a CPU microprocessor. The CPU has a variable scan time and it performs logically by providing updates to the inputs, outputs, and monitor displays after each line of logic. The IC630MDL304 module has 16 points for both input and output and it has a voltage ripple of maximum 3% RMS. The current rating of the module is a maximum of 160 milliamps for all 32 circuits without a load and it is typically 80 milliamps for just 16 circuits.

 

The IC630MDL304 module consumes a power level of 5 Volts DC at 50 milliamps plus 22 milliamps per input of current. For input circuits, the IC630MDL304 module has a current rating of 7 milliamps and a minimum current for the on-state of 5 milliamps. The on-level voltage for the input circuits is less than 6 Volts DC and more than 18 Volts DC for the off-level. In addition to that, the maximum leakage for the off-state is 2 milliamps. The typical response for both the on and off states is 3 to 12 milliseconds. The output circuits have a maximum current of 0.5 milliamps and typical voltage drop for the on-state of 0.8 Volts DC. The peak voltage for the output circuits is 45 Volts DC. Additionally, the output circuits of the IC630MDL304 module have an internal 5-Amp fuse.
