Technical Information

The GE Fanuc sink input module with the catalog number IC630MDL303 is used for GE Series Three PLC systems that operate on both AC and DC power sources. The compatible PLC system supports up to 400 I/O points and a user logic memory of 4096 words that are 16 bits each. The system uses CMOS RAM or EPROM and it allows for up to 368 internal relays. Additionally, the system supports various timers/counters, shift registers, and data registers. The Series Three product line offers numerous functions for the programming of the modules for standard and special applications. The IC630MDL303 module has an input voltage range of 5 to 12 Volts DC and it features 32 circuits. The user-supplied units send a discrete signal to each individual circuit.

 

The IC630MDL303 module uses a single power source for all the available inputs and it uses a pair of 40-pin connectors to connect user devices to the inputs. The module package includes 2 connectors without wiring. The module requires two 3-meter (10-foot) interface pre assembled cables. The IC630MDL303 module has a current rating of 130 milliamps for 5 Volts DC and 400 milliamps for 12 Volts DC. Also, the input current is 2 to 13 milliamps for the on-state, depending on the voltage rating. The input voltage for 5 Volts DC is 0.75 Volts DC for the on-state and 4.25 Volts DC for the off-state. Additionally, the input voltage for 12 Volts DC is 6.8 Volts DC for the on-state and 12.2 Volts DC for the off-state. The IC630MDL303 module has an input signal sink current less than 2 milliamps.
