Technical Information

The product code IC630MDL301 is a part number for a sink input module that is produced by GE Fanuc. The device is available through GE Series Three. The unit provides 16 input points and it is designed for a power supply with a voltage of 24 Volts DC. The voltage tolerance is plus or minus 10% while the ripple is less than 3% RMS. The IC630MDL304 module has a maximum current of 270 milliamps when all inputs are on and a maximum current of 135 milliamps when only 8 inputs are active. The module has an on-state voltage of less than 6 Volts DC and an off-state voltage of more than 18 Volts DC. Also, it should be mentioned that the on-state current is more than 8 milliamps while the off-state current is less than 4 milliamps. The delay time whether the unit is turned on or off is within a range of 3 to 12 milliseconds.

 

The IC630MDL304 input module has an internal power consumption rating of 5 Volts DC while operating at a current of 30 milliamps plus 5 milliamps per point. The module is used for the connection of various input devices provided by the users. These devices include relay contacts, push buttons, and several types of switches. The module uses a single power source for all the input points and it requires field wiring for the attachment of user devices. The circuit connector for the user devices is mounted on the module's faceplate. The IC630MDL304 module also features LED indicators for every input point. The module supports the use of both 12 AWG and 14 AWG wires.
