I/O Link Local Module CCM310 GE Fanuc Series Three PLC IC630CCM3 IC630CCM31
The GE Fanuc IC630CCM310 I/O link module is an I/O link module for the GE Series Three control system. This Series Three system supports many valid remote I/O configurations that can meet the user’s application needs, and it is also important to plan out the exact desired remote I/O system. The IC630CCM310 I/O link module is installed on a base unit (8-point, 6-point, or 4-point) and it occupies a single slot on the base rack. The IC630CCM310 I/O link module can only accommodate a maximum of 7 remote I/O stations and 256 maximum I/O points. For more extensive I/O requirements, multiple I/O link modules like the IC630CCM310 module can be installed to expand the remote I/O options. Each remote IC630CCM310 I/O link module is connected to the local I/O link module in a daisy-chain configuration, and each remote I/O station can accommodate a maximum of 224 I/O points.
Standard local I/O stations consist of 1 to 3 base units that are connected via an I/O expander cable with a CPU/programmer module that is mounted on the primary base unit, and a power module that is mounted on each base unit on the local I/O connection system. When more than one local IC630CCM310 I/O link module is installed on the local I/O station, it is recommended that they be connected in either a “star” configuration or a “daisy-chain” configuration. The IC630CCM310 I/O link module has a front-panel DIP switch for configuring and assigning the addresses of the remote I/O modules. It has a backplane voltage requirement of 5 Volts DC and a maximum power consumption rating of 80 Watts.
