Input Output Rack Old Version YR550 GE Fanuc Series Six Module PLC Board IC600Y IC600YR
The IC600YR550 rack is an old version of a GE Fanuc I/O rack with a high-capacity power supply. It features 8 slots and operates on a power rating of 115/230 Volts AC. This I/O rack is intended to provide an enclosure, backplane, and DC power for the GE Series 6 I/O modules. There are 2 versions of this rack, which means that it can have either 8 slots or 11 slots. Additionally, this rack can support 1 of 2 compatible power supplies, which are a high-capacity power supply and a standard capacity power supply. The IC600YR550 standard I/O rack is designed to satisfy the needs of most I/O applications handled by the GE Series 6 PLCs. The high capacity rack version offers sufficient current for the applications that use I/O modules that jointly require an excess of 6.1 Amps of current to operate. Each of the I/O racks has a far left slot that is used for an I/O receiver module that is either a remote or local I/O receiver. The other slots are used by the GE Series 6 I/O modules.
The GE Fanuc IC600YR550 standard capacity I/O rack provides 5 Volts DC voltage to the backplane, and the rack itself runs on 115/230 Volts AC rated sources of power at a frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz. This I/O rack has an input voltage that is jumper-selectable by the operators for different applications. Additionally, the IC600YR550 high-capacity I/O rack offers 12 or 5 or -12 Volts DC voltage to the backplane for different applications. This I/O rack version has 3 different power supplies with ratings of 20 to 32 Volts DC, 100 to 150 Volts DC, and 95 to 260 Volts AC. The IC600YR550 standard I/O rack can be upgraded to a high-capacity rach version by replacing the standard power supply with a high-capacity power supply.
