Technical Information

The GE Fanuc transmitter module that is labelled with the product code IC600YB900 is part of the GE Series Six product line and it is intended for industrial use. This exceptional module provides great protection to machines against power failure and current irregularities. The IC600YB900 transmitter module is made for local I/O and it does not include a faceplate. This module is built for installation in a rack of the standard type or of the high-capacity I/O type. This means that the module supports installation into any rack from this series or into a compatible CPU rack. The module is UL listed and it is specified for use as an auxiliary control component. The transmitter module supports up to 150 meters (500 feet) of transmission distance between a CPU or local I/O station and the next local station.

 

The IC600YB900 transmitter module has enable/disable mode for faults and it does not require any special tools for installation into its dedicated slot. The module supports installation into any I/O slot with the exception of the leftmost slot on the rack. The IC600YB900 module requires a power of 5 Volts DC and it has a current rating of 1.65 Amps. The module is powered by a compatible power supply in the I/O rack. The module has dimensions of 208 x 280 millimeters (8.1 x 11 inches) with a circuit board and it has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). Additionally, the storage temperature ranges from -20 to 80 degrees Celsius (-40 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit). The IC600YB900 module comes with 4 LED indicators for “isolated power,” “fault enabled,” “chain parity,” and “chain OK” status updates.
