Technical Information

The IC600YB843 input module is an analog input module with a current rating of 4 to 20 milliamps. The module has 8 available input points and it is a module with a circuit board. The module is designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc and part of their Series Six product line. The IC600YB843 module has a voltage input accuracy of 0.0025 to 0.05% and a current input accuracy of 0.075 to 0.125%. The module allows for a calibration that includes 0.025% at full scale for any of its inputs. The module provides conversion to 12 data bits with a resolution of 1 part in 4096 bits. The module features electrical isolation between the user field devices and the controller along with status information for overrange, under-range, module status, and open-wire conditions.

 

Generally, the IC600YB843 input module is used for applications such as energy usage monitoring, alarm level sensing, position sensing, data logging, and process signal measurement applications. The physical characteristics of the module includes dimensions of 208 x 280 x 31 millimeters (8.1 x 11 x 1.2 inches). The IC600YB843 module includes an input filter that has a nominal time constant of 1 millisecond and a cross talk rating of more than 74 decibels at the frequency of 1 kilohertz. The module has a common mode voltage operating rating of 11 Volts. Additionally, the module includes a noise immunity rating of less than 60 decibels with DC voltage. The module operates within a humidity range of 5 to 95% without condensation and within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).
