The IC600YB816 Thermocouple Input Module is a Type T modular input module that is designed for the GE Fanuc Series Six products. It offers electrically isolated inputs that can efficiently detect the analog signals that are developed by thermocouple devices. The IC600YB816 Thermocouple Input Module contains cold junction compensation and open thermocouple detection features. The I/O rack power supply provides 5 Volts DC of voltage and 1.7 Amps of current to fulfill the power requirements of the module. The input requirement of this Type T module is -5.603 to 20.869 MV. It comes with a temperature range of -200 to 400 degrees Celsius and 1.3 degrees Celsius of rated module accuracy. It offers scaling for the selected temperature range and user-selectable temperature limits.
The IC600YB816 Thermocouple Input Module is suitable for use in industrial applications where the thermocouple modules are interfaced to GE Series Six programmable logic controllers. It is advised to use GE Series Six CPU-compatible tools to remove or install the circuit board in the rack. It consists of a Type T thermocouple. During the wiring process, make sure the cold junction compensation element is positioned correctly on the faceplate to avoid damage to the module. The signal conditioning features of the IC600YB816 Thermocouple Input Module include high levels of common-mode rejection, low drift amplification, and filtering. It is capable of automatically indexing the channels during I/O scans without using the input sampling rate. The faceplate of the input module has a user connector block and the cold junction compensation element. The input channels of the modules are capable of sampling at a rate of 15 to 30 readings per second.
