The IC600YB814 Thermocouple Input Module is a Type K+ compact microprocessor-based input module made by GE Fanuc to use with GE Series Six products. The IC600YB814 Thermocouple Input Module can be used to measure the analog signal which is developed by thermocouple devices. This module provides temperature readings in degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit. The operating temperature range outside of the rack is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and the storage temperature range of the module is -20 to 80 degrees Celsius. The inputs of this Type K+ module require -3.553 to 54.845 MV. Its thermocouple temperature range is 0 to 1371 degrees Celsius. The features of the module are selectable through programming. The module must be calibrated every 6 months at a normal operating temperature to achieve maximum accuracy.
The IC600YB814 Thermocouple Input Module helps to interface thermocouple modules into Series Six PLCs in your industrial application. Some of the features of this module include the detection of open circuits if the thermocouple fails, status reporting, and the automatic offset and gain calibration features. During installations, make sure that the input module circuit board which is placed on the I/O rack is properly contacted with the faceplate. The users can use the thumb-screws to secure the faceplate. This module consists of a 13-bit integrated A/D converter and amplifier to gain the maximum accuracy of the reading. It is used with Type K+ thermocouples. The circuit board of the IC600YB814 Thermocouple Input Module consists of a DIP switch, indicator LEDs, potentiometers, data format jumpers, and RUN/calibration jumpers. This module serves different industrial applications including chemical processing and annealing furnace applications.
