Technical Information

The IC600YB810 module is a 115 Volts rated isolated input module by GE Fanuc with 6 input points. The GE Fanuc IC600YB810 input module comes with a single rack that is also known as a CPU rack which can be configured to meet a variety of application requirements. Additionally, this isolated input module has memory which is available on a combined memory board. This memory board has an internal memory capacity of up to 16 KB for the register memory and 64 KB for the logic memory. Moreover, the users can access up to 16K I/O points through the GE Fanuc IC600YB810 isolated input module. The CPU rack for the GE Fanuc IC600YB810 module is shipped with the following components: the I/O control component, arithmetic control modules, power supply, I/O terminator plug, and the rack-mounting brackets and screws. The power supply, arithmetic control module, and the I/O control module are located in the rightmost slots in the rack. 

 

A ribbon cable is used to connect the arithmetic control module to the GE Fanuc IC600YB810 module. In the event that the users have remaining slots in the rack that are empty after installing all of these components, they will need to order black modules which are sold separately to cover the empty slots and protect them from dust and moisture. When installing the CPU rack, make sure to install it in 2 sections with foam between the plastic sections. The users should also store the unused module and its components in an antistatic plastic bag, together with the mounting brackets, screws, I/O terminator plugs, and printed circuit board installation tools if they will not be installed right away. Every module like the IC600YB810 module comes with an insert known as the front-door insert which is located in between the interior and exterior surface of its hinged door.
