230Vac/dc Input Module (8 points) YB805 GE Series Six Module Without Face Plate IC6 IC600YB
The IC600YB805 input module is a 230 Volts AC/DC receiver input module that comes with 8 input points. It is a GE Fanuc Series Six module without a faceplate. The operators can use the IC600YB805 input receiver module in any I/O racks except the first rack in a remote I/O station. The IC600YB805 receiver module is essential for providing an interface for the address, data, and control signals that are exchanged between the Series Six Central Processor Unit (CPU) and the I/O modules. The IC600YB805 receiver input module also provides you with a link in a daisy chain to other I/O racks. The GE Fanuc IC600YB805 receiver input module monitors 3 types of error conditions. These conditions are errors in the daisy-chain power and the continuity of the I/O racks downstream (a “Chain OK” error), errors in the parity of the data output by CPU (a “Local Parity” error), and errors in the parity of CPU output data that is driven by an I/O transmitter module as detected by other I/O receiver modules downstream (a “Chain Parity” error).
The GE Fanuc Series Six IC600YB805 receiver input module comes with several LED indicators that are visible through a clear protective plastic lens on the module faceplate. The LED indicators on the module include 1 LED for each input that turns on when the module detects errors at the inputs and these LEDs are also suitable aids for troubleshooting. At purchase, the GE Fanuc IC600YB805 receiver input module comes from the factory configured for installation in all intermediate I/O racks in the daisy chain. However, if the users want to install the module at the end of the I/O station daisy chain, they must reconfigure the IC600YB805 receiver input module first. Reconfiguring the receiver module will ensure the proper termination of the I/O Bus after its installation at the end of the I/O station’s daisy chain setup.
