CPU Power Supply, 115Vac PM506 Power Unit Module Series Six PLC IC600 C600P IC600PM
The GE Fanuc IC600PM506 Series Six CPU Power Supply Module is a discontinued AC power supply module that is designed for the Series Six Central Processing Units (CPUs) and data processing units. This power supply module is compatible with an AC source voltage range of 95 to 260 Volts AC (at 47 to 63 Hertz), and it supplies +12 Volts DC, -12 Volts DC, and +5 Volts DC of regulated voltage to the rack backplane. The IC600PM506 CPU Power Supply Module has built-in electromechanical relay contacts that are for connecting user-installed field devices (especially indicators) that can be activated by an alarm, and it also provides a voltage regulator for the optional lithium battery backup of the CMOS memory that is located on the processor unit.
The IC600PM506 CPU Power Supply Module’s standard features include support for 115 Volts AC and 230 Volts AC rated applications, support for both CPU and DPU racks, a wide input source range for accommodating a wide range of applications, and a small, compact design that helps to reduce the spare parts inventory. The IC600PM506 CPU Power Supply Module has output ratings of 16.5 Amps maximum at 5.0 Volts DC, 1.5 Amps maximum at 12 Volts DC, and 1 Amp maximum at -12 Volts DC. On the front panel of this module are the 2 keyswitches for selecting the “RUN” or “STOP” modes in the processor, and for setting the processor memory to the “READ ONLY” mode. The IC600PM506 CPU Power Supply Module is installed on the far right side of the CPU rack, and it has an LED that indicates its operating status. It also has a connector block with terminals for connecting the optional auxiliary battery, alarm-activated field devices, and the AC input power.
