High Capacity I/O Rack Power Supply, 230Vac PM504 Power Module Unit Supply IC600 IC600PM

Technical Information

The IC600PM504 power supply is an I/O rack power supply manufactured by GE Fanuc. This power supply is part of the Series Six PLC controller product line by GE. This power supply unit provides power to the I/O modules in the GE Series Six PLCs that are currently available in standard-capacity and high-capacity versions. The standard-capacity unit is used in the standard rack and the high-capacity unit powers the I/O rack with a high power rating. The standard power supply comes with a voltage rating of 5 Volts DC while the high capacity supply has a voltage ranging from 95 to 260 Volts AC. Both of the voltage supplies in the IC600PM504 power the module through the I/O rack backplate. The frequency of the high capacity unit ranges between 47 and 63 Hertz. The input power is then applied to the terminal block by using a line filter and a fuse.

The front side of the IC600PM504 power supply houses the power on/off switch and LED indicators to indicate different statuses. The rack power supply can easily generate power failure signals for system boot and error detection. The IC600PM504 power supply has an open enclosure and the internal components should be protected from water sprays and from sources of EMC noise. The power supply rack comprises the main circuit board, a ground terminal, an auxiliary circuit board connector, a front panel connector block, and a power switch. The power supply rack is easy to install. The PLC system should be fully disconnected from the main power supply during the installation process. The maximum temperature should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius.
