Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC600CB513 control module is an auxiliary I/O control module. It is manufactured by GE Fanuc as part of the GE Series Six line of products. This module is intended for use in GE Series Six Plus and Model 6000 CPUs as an interface module to the auxiliary input and output chain, which allows the Series Six CPU to provide support for the extra input and output chain. Among the notable features and benefits of the IC600CB513 control module includes the interface it provides to auxiliary I/O chains. It has 1000 additional inputs as well as 1000 additional outputs which come with the Model 6000 CPU. This module also has 8000 other inputs as well as 8000 other outputs which come with the Series Six Plus CPUs. There are also 3 LED indicators which are the “CHAIN OK,” “ENABLED,” and “PARITY” LEDs, and they are intended to simplify troubleshooting.

 

The IC600CB513 auxiliary I/O control module has specifications, including a power rating of 5 Volts and 500 milliamps that is supplied by the CPU power source. It is made to be stored at a temperature range from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius and it operates at a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius with 5 and 95 percent non-condensing relative ambient humidity. The IC600CB513 auxiliary I/O control module has a circuit board with dimensions of 208 x 280 millimeters and a faceplate with approximate measurements of 317 x 30 millimeters. The auxiliary I/O chain provides the same functions as the primary I/O chain. However, the I/O override capability is not available when the auxiliary chain connection is made via the connector on the faceplate of the auxiliary I/O module.
