The GE Fanuc IC600CB507 memory module is an 8K register memory module designed for use in the GE Fanuc Model 6000 and 600 CPUs. It is a member of the GE Series Six product series, and it is specifically intended for use with the advanced functions that are handled by the GE Fanuc Model 6000 and 600 CPUs. This module offers 16-bits words of CMOS memory, which is for the register memory data. It comes with many features and benefits which make it unique. One notable feature of the IC600CB507 memory module is the CMOS memory, which has battery backup to maintain the register memory in case of a power interruption. Additionally, it comes with 2 different LED indicators that are used to simplify troubleshooting. The “PARITY” LED is used to indicate whether there is a parity error in the internal memory module, while the “BATTERY” LED shows the status of the onboard battery.

 

The GE Fanuc IC600CB507 8K register memory module only has functional “PARITY” and “BATTERY” LED indicators when it is correctly installed in the powered CPU rack with the correct source of reliable power. Other notable characteristics of the GE Fanuc IC600CB507 register memory module include a faceplate with approximate measurements of 317 x 30 millimeters as well as a circuit board that measures approximately 208 x 280 millimeters. The storage temperature range of this module is from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius, and it operates best at a temperature range between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius.
