Technical Information

The IC600CB500 module is an arithmetic control module that has been made for the Series Six PLC product line by GE Fanuc Automation. This module has been designed to provide logical functions to controllers so that they can decide which alternative functions to use based on the programming performed by the users according to the applications. Besides the logic and arithmetic functions, the GE Fanuc Automation IC600CB500 arithmetic control module includes inputs and outputs for addressing register functions, diagnostic functions, and different communications and control functions. This module includes advanced functions such as an auxiliary I/O override and a dynamic checksum of user logic for changes.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation IC600CB500 arithmetic control module supports a logic memory of 64K that works as a faster industrial solution for the relay ladder logic employed by the module. This module also has access to the R1025-R8 192 equipment through a function that enables the use of extended table moves. The GE Fanuc Automation IC600CB500 arithmetic control module requires a power rating of 5 Volts DC and a current rating of 65 Amps that needs to be supplied by the CPU power supply. This module can operate in an environment with a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and a humidity level of 5 to 95 percent. If these conditions are not met, the lifespan and operation of the module and adjacent equipment might be compromised. It is recommended to insert the module into the rack through the insertion and extraction tool that comes with each of the CPUs from this series.
