The IC600BF950 control module is a Type 4 I/O communications control module that comes in the Series Six PLC product line of programmable logic controllers and components that are made by GE Fanuc Automation. This specific module type comes with the whole circuit board and faceplate which makes it easy to be installed and used right away. This module provides an interface to the Allen-Bradley data highway which makes it able to communicate with other Allen-Bradley equipment. The GE Fanuc Automation IC600BF950 Type 4 I/O communications control module supports DF1 duplex operations and configurable data rate exchanges. This module is designed to operate with a GE Series Six Central Processor Unit (CPU) and it can be installed in a slot or a high-capacity I/O rack.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation IC600BF950 Type 4 I/O communications control module has a power requirement of 240 Volts DC or RMS AC and a frequency range of 50 to 60 Hertz. It can be installed in a Series Six I/O slot in either a GE Model 60 or a high-capacity I/O rack. The GE Fanuc Automation IC600BF950 Type 4 I/O communications control module needs to be installed by using the extraction and insertion tool that is included to remove or install the module in the system. The recommended cable has a maximum length of 50 feet (equivalent to 15 meters) and it is recommended to use an overall shielded cable with a minimum diameter of 24 AWG. This cable assembly is required for communication with the I/O CCM4 RS.232 serial port.
