The IC600BF946 I/O module is a loop management I/O module that has been designed, manufactured, and distributed by GE Fanuc Automation. This module is made to be used with the GE Series Six PLCs and with equipment in applications that include a loop system. The main function of loop management modules is to operate inside a pro loop system. The materials and components of this module are easy to handle and to install, and the package includes both the circuit board and a faceplate so that it can be properly installed. It is recommended to install the GE Fanuc Automation IC600BF946 loop management I/O module in a rack that complies with all the specifications so that the module can have safe and proper operations, and this rack can be a high-capacity rack or any rack from the same series as the module.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation IC600BF946 loop management I/O module comes with an extraction and insertion tool that facilitates the installation of the module in a rack because it has been specially made for this purpose and for this module. It is important to note that while this module includes the faceplate as well as the circuit board in its package, other similar modules in the same series do not come with the faceplates, and the 2 components of this module can also be found separately in the catalog if one of the parts needs to be replaced. When inserting the module, the circuit board and the faceplate need to be properly secured first. The GE Fanuc Automation IC600BF946 loop management I/O module offers electrical isolation between the power sources and PLCs and one of its main benefits is that it simplifies troubleshooting. The module has a square box shape with dimensions of 280 x 280 millimeters.
