Technical Information

The IC600BF915 Axis Positioning Module APM is a Type 1 single-axis positioning controller made by GE Fanuc. It has the compatibility to integrate with GE Series Six PLCs to provide a real-time interface between the servo-controlled axis and the controller. It supports the program development terminal which can be used to monitor and control the APM. It also offers predictable, flexible, and precise axis control facilities and it can perform complex calculations. The IC600BF915 Axis Positioning Module can be directly interfaced with the GE Series Six controllers. It supports simple, single-velocity moves as well as complex velocity/time profiles. It comes with on-board diagnostics and an indicator LED for efficient fault detection and troubleshooting.

 

The IC600BF915 Axis Positioning Module consumes backplane power from a high-capacity I/O power supply or a GE Model 60 CPU. It provides an optional connection for A/D converter input with 0 to +10 Volts DC of the input voltage range and 10K Ohms of input impedance. It has 3 indicator LEDs that are the “Board OK” LED, “Enabled” LED, and the “Feedback OK” LED. This module must be installed in a GE Series Six I/O rack and the CPU communicates with the module through the I/O bus using the standard GE Series Six protocols. Some of the benefits of the IC600BF915 Axis Positioning Module include reduced wiring costs, maximized drive capabilities, flexibility in programming, enhanced servo performance, simplified troubleshooting, complete control over the motion profile, and extended application capabilities. This module comes with the circuit board and faceplate. It can download up to 10 stored programs from the CPU, and a complex command set which contains over 70 commands.
