Technical Information

The IC600BF907 DC Output Module is a 12 Volts DC source type output module designed by GE Fanuc. It consists of a circuit board and a faceplate. The IC600BF907 DC Output Module comes with 8 output points divided into 2 equal groups to provide an optically isolated interface between the output devices and backplane I/O devices. The group with the first 4 outputs shares a common power source. This source type module provides the current to the output loads. The power requirement of the module is fulfilled by the I/O rack power supply and it is a maximum of 5 Volts DC and 400 milliamps. Some of the specifications of the module include 5 milliamps of leakage current at 60 degrees Celsius, 2 Amps of steady-state current, 7 Amps of inrush current, and 1 millisecond of response time.

 

The IC600BF907 DC Output Module uses a Darlington amplifier as a switching device for the 8 output drivers. It offers optically coupled output drivers for providing electrical isolation between the GE Series Six controller and the field devices. It is equipped with a terminal cover, a user terminal block, a circuit board terminal block, indicator LEDs, and output circuit fuses. The circuit board of the IC600BF907 DC Output Module includes comparator circuitry for determining the function of the module and stored output data. Its diagnostic facilities identify CPU or I/O chain failures and indicate such failures to the operators via the status indicator LEDs. It is available with 3 switching ranges for use in a variety of applications such as high-speed switching, battery-powered I/O systems, solenoid valves, and annunciator applications.
