Technical Information

The IC600BF903 sink module is a 48 Volts DC sink output module that is designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is used with the Series Six PLC system by GE. It has a current rating of 400 milliamps. It comes with 8 individual output points that are isolated from one another. These output points are arranged in 2 groups with 4 output points each. All 8 output points have their own LED indicators that illuminate when there is activity. This discrete on/off module can be placed inside an I/O rack or any slot in the CPU of the GE Model 60 system. The IC600BF903 sink output module needs favorable environmental conditions for normal operation. The temperature should range between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius and the environment should be free from any traces of dirt, dust, and EMC noise. Sources of heat generation and dissipation should be kept away from the sink module.

 

The front section of the GE Fanuc IC600BF903 sink output module has the user terminal block that is the main point of contact and connections for the device. It accepts connections from the operator devices and the power source. Next to the module is the circuit board terminal block. During installation, the faceplate of the module should slide over the circuit board so that the terminals on the bottom are properly mated. The overall system should be properly earthed to avoid electrical hazards. One side of the load used by the IC600BF903 sink output module should be connected to the output terminal and the other side of the load should be connected to terminals 1 through 4 and connected to the neutral.
