Technical Information

The IC600BF843 input module is an 8-channel analog input module from GE Fanuc. It can work in 3 different modes: current, unipolar, and bipolar. The 8 channels present in the module are isolated from one another. With an open enclosure, the IC600BF843 input module fits in the I/O rack of the GE Series Six PLC system. The Series Six system is one of the most widely used PLC systems that offer excellent performance in industrial automation applications. It is small with dimensions of only 8.15 x 11 x 1.2 inches. The voltage range of the input module is between 0 and 10 Volts. It is used to handle different application demands. It can also be used for data logging, position sensing, motor speed monitoring, and energy management applications.

 

The IC600BF843 input module also has some enhanced features like predictive diagnostics and safety features that include under range, over range, open wire, and module status detection features. The safety features run throughout the operation process and detect any unwanted faults. The module offers good noise immunity for high input impedance. The IC600BF843 input module has a resolution of 12 data bits. It also provides external isolation between different user field devices and the GE Series Six controllers. This analog input module is able to read information from all the channels and sample high speed data. The front section of the module has LED indicators that show the status of the different channels. The module can be stored at a temperature range between -20 and 40 degrees Celsius when not in use. The operating temperature range is between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius.
