Remote I/O Receiver Module BF801 GE Fanuc Series Six Board w Face Plate IC600BF IC600B
The GE Fanuc IC600BF801 remote I/O receiver module offers a long-distance and serial communication interface between remote and local I/O locations. The module supports 2 kinds of serial communication interfaces, including the RS-232-C (Modem) interface and an interface with 2 twisted pairs of cables. The RS-232-C (Modem) interface enables the Remote I/O station to be situated far away from the Local I/O station or CPU. The distance between the CPU and I/O reduces wiring expenses. It is restricted only by the required I/O response time and the modem's specifications. The signal definitions according to the EIA RS-232C standards include 6 possible baud rates that are selectable by the user and that range between 110 and 57.6K baud. The twisted-pair interface has 2 types of unidirectional data lines that are made to receive data and transmit data. These data lines transfer data and control signals up to 3 kilometers (10,000 feet) at a rate of 57.6K baud.
The GE Fanuc IC600BF801 remote I/O receiver module supports blocks of 256 or 128 I/O. It has Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) and diagnostic circuitry for indicating a failure in the serial communications link, the remote station, or the remote I/O Driver. The IC600BF801 remote I/O receiver module is used in mining, operator consoles, pumping stations, large conveyor systems, moving cranes, tank farm monitors, and electric sub-station monitors, distributed machine lines, and remote sewage aeration applications. The GE Fanuc IC600BF801 remote I/O receiver module has a storage temperature range between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius (32 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit) and an operating temperature range between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius (32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit) outside the rack. Additionally, it has a non-condensing humidity range from 5 to 95 percent.
