Technical Information

The IC610PRG105 programmer is a hand-held programmer with a keyswitch. It is manufactured by the GE Fanuc/GE Intelligent Platforms as part of the GE Series One product line. The IC610PRG105 hand-held programmer is attached to the CPU in the system. It is also portable and it can also be removed and stored for use in the future when it is not currently in use. It is connected to the CPU through a 1.5-meter cable that enhances its flexible and temporary use. Additionally, it can be mounted on the outer side of the console or panel. The programming is done by using the portable programmer or Workmaster industrial computer via the Logicmaster 1 application program that is specifically for the GE Series One devices, or the Logicmaster 1F application program that is for the Series One Plus, Series One Model E, and Series One Plus devices.

 

Generally, the GE Fanuc Series One programmable controllers are intended to provide cost-effective relay replacements and other serial control replacements. The low-cost Series One devices, including the GE Fanuc IC610PRG105 hand-held programmer with a keyswitch, have several features that set them apart from other similar devices. They have large memory capacities of up to 1724 words of PROM or CMOS. Among the notable features of the Series One hand-held programmers are reliable operation with no fan at 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. These devices have retentive counters, built-in shift registers, self-diagnostics, and an internal input power rating of 24 Volts. The GE Fanuc IC610PRG105 hand-held programmer is portable with a weight of 4 pounds and it comes with 28 total latching relays and up to 64 timers and counters.
