Technical Information

The IC610PRG100 module is a hand-held programmer module that is manufactured and distributed by GE Fanuc Automation. It belongs to GE Series One, and it is a general-purpose device that is used with various PLC products. This hand-held programmer is ideal for performing the basic PLC troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial automation equipment. However, the IC610PRG100 hand-held programmer is not suitable for handling more extensive or complicated PLC programs. This GE Series One hand-held programmer should be used for onsite maintenance, setup, and some PLC program changes. It can change nearly any of the system settings in the PLC. Some of these settings include the selection of the retentive memory range, I/O configuration, calendar, and clock setup, among others. This unit allows for the programming of the PLC by using instruction mnemonics, which include commands as well as operating data, which is processed by the CPU.

 

The GE Fanuc IC610PRG100 hand-held programmer is small, portable, and able to be used in a number of different ways. It can be attached to the CPU that it is intended for, or removed and kept in its storage pocket for future use. It connects to the CPU through a flexible 5-foot cable for temporary use. The IC610PRG100 hand-held programmer is mounted on the outer side of the console or panel. This unit comprises a pushbutton and a display which aids in transportation as well as rugged or heavy-duty use. This hand-held programmer can be used to execute programming on the Workmaster industrial computers through the Series One Logicmaster 1 application software. This hand-held programmer and other devices in the series by GE Fanuc Automation provide cost-effective relays.
