Technical Information

The IC610PER155 module is a standalone PROM writer unit module manufactured by GE Fanuc as a member of Series One. This module allows for the transfer of the user program in the CMOS memory to PROM memory, thus offering an appropriate means of non-volatile and permanent storage for such programs. The IC610PER155 PROM writer unit module comes with a compact design, and it is easy to use with non-volatile storage. Additionally, the PROM memory is advantageous because many PROMs can be programmed, with each of them configured with a different program for use as required. The IC610PER155 PROM writer unit Version B module can be used to replace the Version A module and used with the GE Series One Plus programmable controllers, along with the Series One Junior Programmable Controllers. Version B of the PROM writer unit module cannot work with the Series One Plus 3.7 K programmable controllers. A revised version should be used for all the members of the GE Fanuc Series One product family.

 

The GE Fanuc IC610PER155 PROM standalone writer unit module is designed and intended to perform various functions, including the copying of a program from the Random Access Memory or RAM of a CPU to the UVPROM. It is also used to copy the program from UVPROM to the RAM of the CPU. The IC610PER155 PROM writer unit module also compares different programs in the UVPROM with the Random Access Memory of the CPU. It is attached to the CPU as well as the power supply and it can be used with the internal base power but it also accepts external power sources.
