Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC610MDL179 output module is a 115 Volts AC or 230 Volts AC rated output module with a removable terminal board. The IC610MDL179 output module has 8 output circuits. Discrete loads such as solenoid valves, relay coils, motor starters, and indicator coils can be connected to the module outputs. The 8 module outputs are split into 2 independent groups with 4 outputs in each group. The 2 output groups can be powered from separate power sources. The field devices must be powered by sources which are user-supplied. The weight of the IC610MDL179 module is 210 grams. The maximum current per output varies with the ambient temperature. At 20 degrees Celsius, each of the 8 outputs can source 0.5 Amps of current, and at 60 degrees Celsius, 6 output circuits can source 1 Amp of current.

 

The operating voltage for the GE Fanuc IC610MDL179 output module is 80 to 264 Volts AC. The AC frequency range is 47 to 63 Hertz. The maximum current per output point is 1 Amp. The maximum leakage current is 1.2 milliamps at 230 Volts and 60 Hertz. The rated on-state voltage drop is 1.5 Volts at 1 Amp. GE Fanuc recommends a minimum load of 25 milliamps for each output circuit on the IC610MDL179 output module. The off to on time delay rating for the module outputs is 1 millisecond and the off to on time delay rating is 9 milliseconds. The IC610MDL179 output module comes with a logic side circuit indicator. A single internal fuse rated for 5 Amps is provided for each output group.
