Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC610MDL127 input module is a 230 Volts AC rated input module. The 8 circuits on the module are designed to receive a single discrete input signal from customer devices such as relay contacts, limit switches, and selector switches. Wiring from the customer devices is terminated on screw terminals on a terminal block which is mounted on the faceplate of the IC610MDL127 input module. The C1 and C2 common terminals are isolated from each other. Each screw terminal on the terminal block is designed to accept either 2 wires with a 14 AWG wire size or one wire with a 12 AWG wire size. The 8 input circuits on the IC610MDL127 input module are divided into 2 groups which are capable of being powered from separate power sources.

 

The power for the user devices connected to the IC610MDL127 input module needs to be provided by the users. The approximate module weight is 140 grams. The input impedance for each of the input circuits on the IC610MDL127 input module is 18 kiloohms at 60 degrees Celsius. The typical input current is 11 milliamps which can reach a maximum value of 18 milliamps at 265 Volts AC and 60 Hertz. The range of the operating voltages for the input circuits is 180 to 265 Volts AC. The circuits are switched on above 180 Volts AC and they are switched off below 40 Volts AC. The off-state current is less than 2 milliamps, and the off to on response and on to off response times are 5 to 50 and 5 to 60 milliseconds, respectively. The module’s internal power consumption rating is 10 milliamps at 9 Volts DC.
