GE I/O Simulator Module(8 points) Series One Module PLC MDL124 IC610MDL1 IC610MDL12
The IC610MDL124 input module is an 8-point I/O module manufactured by GE Fanuc. This programmable controller device is used in different industries to process the input signals from different operator devices. It can receive the on/off discrete signals from switches, relays, and buttons, and pass the processed signals to the PLC system. The 8 points of the IC610MDL124 input module are individually isolated but they are powered with a single operator-provided input supply. There are 8 LED indicators for the 8 points on the front panel that shows the active and passive states of the individual points. This plug and play module can be easily installed inside the PLC system and easily replaced if necessary. This simulator module is powered with a 115 Volts AC power supply. The associated LED on the front panel turns on when the point receives a signal. Each of the points have their own reference that is known to the PLC system.
The GE Fanuc IC610MDL124 input module consumes 10 milliamps current with 9 Volts DC voltage. The load rating in units is 1 unit with 9 Volts DC and 11 units with 24 Volts DC. A switch is present on the front side of the module to control the individual circuits of the I/O simulator. The simulator plays an important role in program development and troubleshooting in the system. The simulator module in the IC610MDL124 input module can be programmed to be used as an input contact for controlling output devices. The on to off response ranges between 4 and 15 milliseconds and the off to on response is in the same range.
